Interview
1. The business idea:
Claw Collective is a space for movement, nutrition, and inspiration in the historic Wolfensberger building in the heart of Zurich.
We have developed yoga, Pilates, and barre-inspired workouts that last 50 minutes—perfect for a busy schedule and designed to be so holistic that participants feel strong, beautiful, and grounded afterwards. Accompanied by electronic beats and in a high-quality, design-oriented environment, we create an experience that combines movement, atmosphere, and community.
In the evenings and on weekends, Claw Collective often transforms into an event location where our community comes together, grows, and exchanges ideas.
2. The best thing about self-employment:
Creating something that feels 100% right—and seeing it become a place where people move, come together, and feel inspired. The freedom to design yourself is challenging, but incredibly fulfilling.
3. The most valuable experience:
How powerful community is. Together with our team and our customers, we are constantly evolving. When people inspire each other, something greater than their own concept emerges. And growth does not come from perfection, but from trying things out, learning from mistakes, and persevering.
4. The biggest challenge:
Staying focused—between vision and everyday life, creativity and structure. Being self-employed requires you to constantly make decisions, even when everything is not yet clear.
5. A tip for future founders:
Start before you're ready. The perfect moment never comes—but the energy of simply getting started changes everything. And find people who complement you, not mirror you.
6. I am grateful to the HSG for this:
For the courage to break new ground—and for the network that inspires, supports, and shows that business can also be creative, humane, and courageous.
7. I could use support from other alumnae or alumni for this:
Anyone who has experience in brand building, wellness, or community-driven businesses—or who wants to come by and become part of Claw.
8. Targets for the current year (2025)
Establish Claw Collective as the leading venue for modern, music-driven movement experiences in Zurich—and build a community that empowers, inspires, and connects.
